Hessam Abrishami

Abrishami. Dynamic composition, powerful expression and vibrant
colors along with great imagination create works of amazing depth
and dimension to intrigue and disarm the viewer. This is one of

"My colors overwhelm me. I don't argue with them. I let them
choose the paths through which I am liberated", states the
Persian-born artist.
Through the inspiration and encouragement of a high school
teacher, who himself was an artist, the then-fifteen year old
Hessam discovered his love of art and his own talent for painting,
resulting in a virtual obsession for both. Continuing his high school
education, Hessam devoted major efforts to painting while he
studied architecture and calligraphy, which contributed to the
"fine tuning" of his painting techniques.
Hessam continues to paint in his chosen medium of acrylic (on
both paper and canvas). Exploring a realm that the French press
has called "A statement in the fluidity of human figures", he
creates a tension between each figure, a kinship of place or
condition that provokes the viewer to seek a reason for such
relationships.
Hessam is an internationally acclaimed artist whose paintings and
fine art prints are regularly presented in special shows around the
United States, as well as in Canada, the Far East, South Africa,
Australia, and throughout all of Europe.
