Syd Entel Galleries is proud to present an exciting group
of artists whose paintings, pastels collages and mixed
media artwork all represent the abstract. The collection
will include work by P.T. Tiersky, Starlie Sokol-Hohn,
Terri Hallman , Josiane Childers , Aleah Koury.
Abstract Art is a style where color, form and texture
make up the subject matter rather than representing
tangible objects or people. On the surface, the work may
appear simple but under the multi layers of paint there
are also the multi layers of emotional depth the artist
puts forth onto the canvas. This is what engages you, you
look deeper, it moves you. This is the beauty of the
abstract.
